  • In 2009 was a founding member of the current Direct Primary Care (DPC) model of medical practice established by Dr. Josh Umbehr in Wichita Kansas (and a frequent guest of President Trump during his first term)
  • I developed the only true group health insurance plan model in the nation, that is specifically designed the wrap-around a DPC practice model, Like AtlaS MD.
  • now work with more than 1600 DPC model practitioners nationally in 41 states. I am licensed to do business in all those states.
  • Over the years I have worked with approximately 700 agents/agencies in many states, helping them help individuals and groups in their area, as local "boots on the ground.," by training them.
  • IN 2010 I wrote the book "Obamacare Unwrapped" breaking the PPACA law down section by section. That book has been used by many politicians to help them understand the law and be able to talk about it as they ran for office. I published a second version in 2012 to update many of the changes.
  • In 2012-2013 I wrote the "Mandate Lite" law signed into law by then Governor Sam Brownback. That law defined short term insurance and also defined specialty products that are not tradition Health Insurance, so insurance companies could bring specialized products to the market in the state. That law has been copied by at least 19 states into their statutes.
  • In 2018-2019 I was invited to help expand the length of time Short Term policies could be continued in states by the Trump Administration.

During my tenure as swimming coach, we won 18 league titles and I had a 20 year streak coaching the league diving champions, including two that were recruited to D-1 schools. One won the Big 8 3-Meter championship and the other set and still holds most of the Big Sky diving records.
