- While unemployed, I focused on my schoolwork and education.
- While in high school, I participated in many service activities, such as working with Bishop Gallego's maternity home, helping the homeless at Loaves and Fishes in Sacramento, and assisting the Special Olympics organization. These service activities helped me build more skills in working as a team to reach a common goal.
- In high school, I participated in a senior retreat leadership team, which helped me build social and teamwork skills.
