Operate and maintain a 100,000 gpd wastewater treatment plant and operate and maintain a groundwater treatment and distribution system. I was responsible for the startup of the wastewater treatment plant and the building of the groundwater treatment pump station. Also do light maintenance activities and handle all the plumbing maintenance. Certified Pool Operator taking care of 3 pools, 1 hot tub and a water slide park.

Maintain the city's water and wastewater infrastructure in a water-tight condition.

• Responsible for ensuring the compliant daily operations of industrial waste treatment plant, hazardous waste handling and shipments, SPCC and SWP3 program compliance, member of the accident investigation team, HAZWOPER certified responder

• General operational aspects of the activated sludge wastewater treatment plant as well as the Belt Filter Press
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques for Dissolved Oxygen (both by probe and the Winkler Method), Chlorine analysis, pH determination

• Under direction of the Superintendent, distributes job orders and ensures completion of jobs, training and assisting crews in the completion of those jobs
• Also maintains the MSDS collection
• Responsible for the work of as many as 10 crewman

• Promoted to position after 14 months as crew chief Responsible for the completion of new installation projects, and the replacement of mains, and laterals Installed the water mains, services for a new subdivision (3,000’ of 8” C-900), and the sewer to an annexed community (4,000+’ of 6 SDR-35 and 8 manholes)
• Replaced 1400’ of 12” transmission water main with 5 new tie-ins & 4 fire hydrants

• Sole member of the Public Works Department responsible for the water, sewer, parks and street departments; Operated a package activated sludge wastewater treatment plant.

• Backhoe operator for three-man crew working in all aspects of the maintenance and repair of water main and services.

• As a Utility Systems Specialist, our office was responsible for the operation of groundwater plant and well field, wastewater treatment plant, and all water and sewer lines, including inside and outside plumbing and all natural gas systems
• Team leader in the Water Well Rehabilitation Team, pulling and repairing six water wells vital to our water production demands
• Deployed on TDY to Saudi Arabia, Panama, Columbia and Peru, performing plumbing and pipe-line installation in each.
