
My name is David Tashji I am a young Adult looking to pursue a career in Emergency medicine, but also aim to be a well rounded person who is able to be successful across a variety of fields and skills. I have a specialty in outdoor Emergency medicine because of my OEC accreditation and also have my NREMT certification and am licensed to practice in the state of Massachusetts. I have a drive for learning and expanding my own abilities while also helping others grow and improve.
As the on site Camp manager at last years camp I was also in charge of being the head counselor, this involved me being in direct contact with the kids and taking the time to plan out each day and what the kids wanted to do for that days 2 rides, while also reporting back to upper management on new issues or requests form kids, counselor's and parents.
NEMBA has recently added a medical personnel role to flagship events and other smaller events in the hopes of improving safety and cutting down response times greatly for those who are hut while out on trail.
As a current ski patroller my duties have a great range depending on the day, starting my first year I was in charge of our youth division we call Ski scouts, I created lesson plans to teach them and directed them on duty tasks, while also educating them on maintenance of the mountain. I am currently an instructor for NSP and as such further my knowledge so that I may educate other patroller's and make them better.
I am a multi level instructor who also works with adaptive skiers with physical or psychological disabilities. With an estimated 96% success rate reported from parents and administration.
