A 30+ year retired classroom teacher primarily at the middle levels. These experiences have instilled a passion to properly prepare teacher candidates on the academic, developmental, social and emotional needs of our students.

*Provides high quality professional development.
*Primarily taught science in a departmentalized setting. Also taught Math, Social Studies and Reading.
*Worked with dozens of student teachers, practicum and observers all from SUNY Potsdam's School of Education
*Created and enforced child-based, hands-on curriculum to promote student interest and receptive learning.
*Discussed daily practical issues in a real classroom setting.
*Worked with over 150 students in grades 2-8 in both a push-in/pull-out program.
* Managed and provided instruction to classes of 15-20 students of wide ranging abilities.
*Hosted 8 student teachers and dozens of practicum and observation teacher candidates from SUNY Potsdam School of Education.
