Current position is in the real estate appraisal industry preparing real estate appraisals for commercial banks and lenders, attorneys brokers, banks, and trust departments in the Southern California region. Property type ranges from single-tenant commercial to multi-family development. The majority of my assignments have been utilizing the narrative format. Form appraisals have also been completed for clients. I have been actively involved in the real estate appraisal industry since 1992.
I have years of experience appraising and/or reviewing appraisals of various complex commercial properties for a institutions. Exposure to large Class A investment grade properties, Class A office, retail, industrial; new construction, ground lease, tax abatement/tax credit scenarios and other unique property types and challenging income characteristics. I am currently a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in both California and Alabama.

The General Services Department Real Estate Services Division – I was responsible for the engagement of third-party vendors, RFP preparation and review of appraisal reports for the General Services Department for acquisition and sale opportunities and related supporting functions.
In this role, I was responsible for minimizing risk by conducting valuation research, analysis and providing guidance and recommendations to the Council offices, City managers, CAO office, and Economic Workforce Development Department, Sanitation Department, Public Works, Recreation and Parks Department, Fire Department, Police Department, Library Department, Department of Water and Power Department and the City Attorney. As the Appraisal Review Appraiser, I evaluated a variety of property types, including but not limited to, industrial, multi-family, office, retail shopping centers, special use, etc. I was responsible for ensure the department was audit proof from the public watch dog agencies and met USPAP standards.
Geographical coverage in this assignment included completion of the appraisals assignments/and support for the entire City of Los Angeles region. Appraisals were completed for required public improvement projects, Public Bonds, and eminent domain filings requirements as needed by the City Attorney.
