- A part of the Psychology course offered to 12th grade students at Brentwood.
- Senior Peer Leaders spearhead meetings once a week with a group of freshman, after learning different techniques of leadership, listening, problem solving, etc.
- The course is set out to help ease freshman into the intense fast paced life of high school, while also being able to connect them with older students if ever seeking advice or a friend.
Volunteer at the Painted Turtle
Lake Hughes, CA
- Volunteer during elementary/middle school years and separately with senior class in high school.
- Work includes: Maintaining and cleaning the garden. Painting wood for houses, tables, chairs, etc. Spending time with disabled youth participating in outdoor activities.
Volunteer at Mar Vista Gardens
Mar Vista Gardens, Culver City
- 5 year volunteer at Mar Vista Gardens during Thanksgiving time.
- Work includes: Decorating the communal space and painting murals. Dishing out food for members of the community. Setting tables, decorating dining halls, etc.
