

Patient-oriented Nurse with 20+ years of diverse experience in direct patient care, staff supervision and department operations. Provide timely, non-judgemental, compassionate care to the sexual assault victim. The SANE exam may include a medical-forensic exam, prophylaxis for sexually transmitted infections, photographic documentation, and referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up, as well as referral to the local Rape Crisis Advocacy Center.
Triage telephone calls from patients, law enforcement, patients' families for admission, assessing patient, submitting insurance to private insurance companies, responding to various referrals for acceptance for patient admission in a timely manner.
Direct patient care in home setting and various long term care facilities and/or assisted facilities, (home health) ongoing full assessment to meet criteria to continue home health, (hospice) recertification by continual declined as defined by state guidelines with assessment, measurements, comfort care and management for terminal patients, call, have to be certified by NM OMI to pronounce patient death.
Administer health services to students using nursing process to assess needs, plan interventions and evaluate outcomes, maintain health and immunization records, attend IEP meetings with specified care plans for presentation to all involved in meetings, health topic presentations for educators using powerpoint, health fair fall and spring.
