  • During my time at Berkley Risk Administrators, I was responsible for the management of two claim units to include the Tennessee Workers' Compensation Insurance Plan (on behalf of AON Risk Management) and Tennessee Insurance Guarantee Association. This included assignment of new claims, period claim reviews, approval of reserves and settlement authority up to $100k, as well as proper reporting of large claims to the clients. Dealt closely with attorneys and other vendors, as well as with the Bureau of Workers' Compensation. Also oversaw an office staff of 9-12 people to include all phases of performance reviews, disciplinary actions, training, and other Human Resources items.
  • During this period, regular audits were required by the Assigned Risk Plan. The office's overall rating was consistently in the 95-100% range. We also traveled with AON and the Bureau of Worker's Compensation all over the State of Tennessee to perform employer training.
