  • Oversight and management of Command Information Office (CIO) Information Technology and Telecommunication business programs. Ensuring operational, financial, and sustainment components alignment with internal Command and mission priorities as well as external compliance with DoD, DoN, and NAVFAC Headquarters guidance. Duties and accomplishments included but not limited to-
  • Develops project plans to manage scope, cost, schedule, risk, and performance components of technical projects to deliver new and/or upgraded technology resources. Develops a communicating plan to keep stakeholders apprised. Annually manages 25+ technology projects.
  • Reviews, interprets, and executes DoD, DoN, NAVFAC HQ policies, directives and regulations governing technology business operations, computer networks and cyber security best practices.
  • Develops business case analysis (BCA) reports and trend analysis information to guide senior leadership with business decision making organizational change and investments in modern technologies.
  • Plans, develops, and executes integration and deployment strategies for incorporation of new and emerging technologies, lifecycle management milestones, and hardware and software compliance with DoN, DoD, and Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) guidance associated with cybersecurity and information assurance objectives.
  • Prepares and presents formal and informal briefings to ensure business program alignment with senior leadership goals, decision making milestones and high visibility projects.
  • Oversight of fiscal and financial management functions. Manages an annual technology budget of $1.4M.
  • Develops policies, processes, and associated change management protocols to ensure efficiencies with business and workflow operations. Recently developed an official Command Instruction which governs wireless communication device deployment, assignment, and usage across the Command.

  • Lead network migration team to successfully transition the legacy NAVFAC EURAFSWA client and server environment to the Navy owned ONE Net network. This included all end-user and workstation accounts, shared/local data, print/scan capabilities and applications.
