The research comprised suction at appropriate times, breath sounds were reviewed and bronchodilators used for wheeze. The question in the research was did suctioning remove the wheeze without using bronchodilation. The answer was yes suctioning indeed removed the wheeze. The over use of bronchodilators was stopped.
Approached to join this team. I asked to be shown the technique of intubating such a small child, I was told I would learn on the spot. I turned the position down. I went to the Idaho Humane Society and talked with the Director and Surgeon. I asked if I could go into the surgical procedure and learn how to intubate cats of different sizes. They're anatomical structure is very close to a neonates structure.
I worked with the Dr. and was able to effectively intubate cats with no need for added equipment, with only the use of my hand. I did this for a week and went back to say I was ready to take the position.
