Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office
01.2023 - 11.2025
I was a Law Enforcement Cadet at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office from January of 2023 through November of 2025. During my time there, I helped out with lots of training for the SWAT team, K-9 Unit, and the new hires under the field training Office. I served as a role player in all of those training exercises helping these teams and units have a more realistic based training not sharpen their skills further. As a cadet for PBSO, I helped out in the Operational Technology Unit from start to finish of the entire body worn camera project when PBSO officially began using body worn cameras. As a cadet I worked in the Fugitive Warrants division. My tasks there were to handle any in house duties that were needed of me to do and also take care of the line vehicles we had, making sure they were maintained up to date, cleaned, and fueled. I then was transferred during the last 5 months of my time at PBSO to Agency Support Services. My duties in this unit included any in house services and maintenance, keeping inventory of the items in the in unit store, catering and providing food and other supplies for events that PBSO hosted, and also taking care of any maintenance on the line vehicles and making sure they were cleaned and fueled.

One of the awards I achieved that year that meant the most to me was top "let 1" of my "company" or my class. My second year, which was also my shortest year due to COVID, I was a platoon leader in my company with the rank of second lieutenant which is also the highest rank and position a second-year cadet can achieve. A company commander is the commander of an entire class of around 40 cadets. When I became a senior in high school and a "let 4". My position was the battalion commander and my rank was lieutenant colonel, also the highest possible rank to be achieved as a 4 year cadet in the program.
