Leadership + Administration

• Support daily school functions-including staff coverage, safety protocols, and operational logistics
• Oversee Alternative Learning Center-including staff and student support of daily functions, supporting ILPA meetings, and working with the student support team on transitional goals for academic, behavior, and social/emotional success
• Assist in reporting and monitoring student attendance, and work with DPP for investigative follow-up when necessary
• Assist in creating the master schedule, class schedules, teacher assignments, and programming

Discipline + Behavior Management

• Oversee the implementation of the schoolwide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports System

• Oversee and address student behavior/discipline

• Develop Student Support Teams to support behavior interventions-including collaborating with counselors and support staff to implement tiered programming

Instructional Support

• Collaborate with building principal to plan, implement, and monitor curriculum, instruction and assessment conducive with The Kentucky Department of Education regulations and Kentucky Academic Standards
• Supervise and observe teacher performance
• Conduct classroom walkthrough and evaluations to ensure implementation of HQIR and student ownership of learning
• Provide constructive feedback to teachers that supports their professional development
• Analyze academic data and utilize student performance data to inform instructional decisions and interventions
• Participate in grade level PLCs-including providing teams with necessary data and support
• Provide support and guidance to staff-including supporting staff growth through professional learning opportunities, coaching, and collaboration
• Benchmark/Mastery Connect Local Assessment Coordinator

Parent + Community Engagement

• Establish open lines of communication with staff, students, and families
• Utilize restorative practices as concerns arise from parents and stakeholders to ensure amicable conflict resolution
