SRF Program Specialist, Operator Certification Program.
As State Revolving Fund Specialist (SRF) responsibilities include providing onsite technical assistance for
water treatment and distribution operations and management, Operator Certification, and North Dakota
Department of Health (NDDEQ) Rules and Regulations compliance. Under the direction of the NDDEQ Completed completed 75-100 Consumer Confidence Reports (CCR) per year, followed up on 25 + Sanitary Surveys, and Lead & Copper site plans., Backflow trainer for NDRW. for new public water systems in ND. Resulting in a lot of travel miles per year throughout the state of North Dakota.
Operator Certification responsibilities include regulatory compliance to certify Operators through onsite specialized
and relevant training, assist with the completion of required forms and reports as required by the NDDEQ. Provide
monthly updates with primacy agency, the NDDEQ.
Provide training and technical assistance to assist both member and nonmember systems in formal classroom sessions with follow up, on-site technical assistance in Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) compliance issues, public health protection as it relates to drinking water, managerial issues, financial issues, and operational issues.
Responsible for preparing reports and providing visits to 50+ systems per year and assisting NDRWSA training specialists, circuit riders, and wastewater technicians in any capacity needed.
Assist with annual meeting and Rural Water EXPO conferences including mailings, booth display, working with
Exhibitors, awards, silent auctions, member packets and more.
Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with co-workers, NDRWSA members, City
Auditors, Operators Over see all of the Reservations in the state for water and wastewater, and Exhibitors. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Perform additional
duties as assigned. Comply with all NDDEWQ and NDRWSA rules, regulations, and procedures.
