- Took the interim role and responsibility of Division Administrator in the absence of individual, while still also performing loan manager tasks and duties.
- Led a team of over 30 employees whose functions were to review applications for those native Hawaiians who wished to be part of the program, service those beneficiaries who were already awarded leases through the Department of Hawaiian Homelands, review and process loan requests for beneficiaries who wished to purchase homestead leases or refinance existing mortgages on leased land.
- The applications were in excess of 27,000. Leases awarded to beneficiaries were in excess of 9,800.
- Responsible for preparation and review of the division's numerous monthly reports to the Hawaiian Homes Commission.
- Hired as a loan collection specialist for business loans.
- Subsequently promoted to Loan Manager for the business loan program.
- Program was to assist with business loans for Native Hawaiian entrepreneurs.
- Prepared, reviewed, and presented various business loan requests to the Native Hawaiian Revolving Loan Fund board for approval.

- Performed collection efforts on delinquent business loans.
- Started as a loan officer in FHB's Dealer Center reviewing and approving auto loans from local dealerships.
- Transferred to FHB's branching system (Kaiko'o branch) as a loan representative processing primarily consumer loan requests as well as opening new deposit accounts and servicing existing ones.
- Promoted to Assistant Branch Manager with duties listed above as well as now processing/reviewing commercial business loans.
- Promoted to Branch Manager when existing branch manager was relocated to larger branch in Hilo. Duties were now increased to include profitability of the branch, sales of products by branch staff, as well growing branch's deposit and loan base.
