My main job as a daycare provider was to provide a warm, loving atmosphere in my home where children could feel safe and welcomed. I have treated all of the children I've watched like my own. I originally started in-home daycare as a way to stay home with my own children. It ended up being something I truly enjoyed. I consider children a gift and a blessing and it is the greatest joy to make them smile and laugh. Years from now I will look on these years with a sense of pride. My own children can call the children I have watched some of their greatest friends. 

Being a daycare provider involved a great deal of planning and multi tasking. I planned and cooked meals, coordinated playdates for the children, organized field trips, created activities for them and allowed them to explore their own creative thinking and play.
