Deanne Ashmore

I am currently a cook 2 at Centralia College daycare. I am dependable and organized with over 26 years of experience serving multiple sites at Centralia College daycare. Always adapting, problem solving and being flexible with daily request and changes. We serve a diverse group of children and also work hard at preparing a variety of meals that meet state guidelines. Looking for new and fresh menu ideas to incorporate into our menu along with recognizing children with food insecurities and help teach them a balance of healthy eating habits while still taking those food insecurities into consideration. Navigating 13 classrooms along with over 26 staff while executing meals for in upwards of 200 children for breakfast, lunch and snack on a daily basis. Assisting with daily organizing, ordering, paperwork, gathering food item, supplies for multiple sites and keeping our work area clean and sanitized.

• I have helped organize, coordinate & volunteered for the STP at Centralia college in the beer garden for the past 13 years.
• I was in charge of fundraising for my daughters high school class for 4 years & helped coordinate the senior sober night along with the senior ball & flower bowls.
• In 1996 my husband & I helped coordinate & build 5 new soccer field in Centralia for over 500 children in the community & also organized & ran the concession stand for 11 years.
• My husband & I were chaperones for the International youth conference for our daughters youth group to San Antonio Texas for the centralia community church of GOD.
• Helped organize/volunteer for the 1st/2nd STP fundraiser for the church as well.
• I help with my husbands golf tournament/various fundraisers for centralia high school athletics.
• Our family adopted a portion of the highway ramps in Centralia that we put together clean ups 4 times a year.
• I have helped paint over graffiti with my husband in the Centralia area.
