- Assessed need for, requested and obtained orders for appropriate lab tests, medications, analgesics, anxiety and respiratory needs. Intervened during airway emergencies.
- Primary care, assessment and evaluation of pediatric patients, newborn to 21 years of age. Precepting of new staff nurses as needed.
- Relief charge nurse in pediatric recovery room which sees an average of 25 patients per shift from the OR; CVOR, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology and Endoscopy departments. This position required scheduling for the week, partaking in interviews, as well as assisting with staff evaluations.
