- Prepare rough drafts of documents and correspondence as directed by attorney(s).
- Draft, edit, proofread and finalize legal documents, including agreements, releases, complaints and general correspondence as directed by the attorney(s).
- Interact with clients, via telephone, fax and email.
- Create, as well as physically and electronically maintain files in accordance with Firm's programs and database.
- File lawsuits, early post-suit calendaring, observe deadlines and statutes, where applicable.
- Follow dockets for accuracy and ensuring progression of lawsuit(s).
- Timely reports for client remittance.
- Proficient in computer usage in general and specialized software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, CollectMax and limited use of ProLaw.
- Effective in prioritizing and organizing work.
