As a FSA claims specialist I processed, reviewed and adjudicated employe benefit claims to ensure they comply with IRS regulations and employer-specific plan rules. This included Dependent Care, Tuition Reimbursement and Commuter benefits.

• Claim Adjudication: Review submitted claims to verify they meet plan eligibility requirements and IRS guidelines.
• Documentation: Ensure all receipts and required paperwork are accurate and complete.
• Dispute Resolution: Communicated with plan participants, client contacts and account managers to request missing information, answer questions, and resolve claim discrepancies.
• Data Processing: Enter claim data accurately into benefits software and reconcile any inconsistencies.
• Compliance: Stay up to date with IRS tax codes, plan design rules, and internal turnaround times.HIPAA certifications yearly.

Day to day administration FSA accounts.

• Client Relationship Management: Served as the main point of contact for clients, answering inquiries, resolving escalations, and guiding them through open enrollment.
• Compliance & Regulation: Monitor and ensure that all FSA plans adhere to IRS guidelines and federal regulations regarding employee contributions, rollover funds, and claim substantiation.
• Account Administration: Oversee enrollment processes, eligibility verification, payroll deductions, and funding workflows internally.
• Claim adjudication and Data processing: Review, process FSA, tuition and commuter claims.
