Gardening, Dog-walking, Snowmachining, Volunteering in various community events

I am a passionate gardener: I have a number of raised beds at the UAF Community Gardens where I regularly mentor other less experienced gardeners on the skills of gardening in Interior Alaska. I volunteer for many community oriented events and organizations; this past year I maintained the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center cabin's garden. The previous year I headed up the coordination of garden plots for the Stone Soup raised beds in downtown Fairbanks. I have coordinated with and volunteered for the annual Hospice Plant Sale for numerous years; last year our fundraiser netted $48,000 in a mere 4 hours of selling plants!! I love the outdoors and walk my dogs and other's dogs daily just to be outside. I love snowmaching to the White Mountains and sleeping in those cabins!
