Thank you for considering my resume. I am currently employed part time with the Senior life agency, but I also am interested in part time with Passavant. I enjoy working in the field and would look forward to being able to collaborate with the professional team regarding the clients needs and concerns.
Developed a 501c3 adolescent center for youth that were diagnosed with various mental health issues . Keeping in mind the the kids were also very disadvantaged youth, we provided a facility using the country , farm concept. Once the child was evaluated with an appropriate mental health diagnosis, that met our admission policy, then cases were referred from various counties. The program was also funded thru state contracts. Clients were provided with daily one on therapy sessions as well as group sessions. Other program modalities included the implementation of daily hands on activities of caring for farm animals, including equine programs, Treatment plans were , followed and implemented on individual case basis by licensed professionals , including a full time PHD on site, as well as direct care workers and full time live in staff. The programs policy and procedures were approved by state, as were other health and safety required licensing permits. My initial role as the Vice president was starting the program from a grass roots stage of development. I hired the professionals that I was required to have by law to provide care for the clients in the program. Within a year I saw a need to expand the programs. The corporation purchased a second facility dedicated to females only. This was also funded by state and county funds. The program functioned within the identical concept of being in the country along with equine programs and mental heath interventions specific to the girls.
My role continued to be administative negotiating funding contracts,, monitoring so all staff and facilities adhered to state and local guidelines, inspections etc. The facilities have since closed, and my knowledge is a bit outdated but I thought it was worth mentioning.
