Summary

Nursing afforded me many opportunities to enhance care and medical liaison for patients. Med/surge allowed me to interact with patients of various backgrounds and diverse medical problems. I have worked for many years in the medical profession. That experience has served prepared me for the nursing profession.

As an x-ray technologist, I had many valuable experiences. By working in hospitals and clinics, I gained emergency room experience, surgery experience, and administrative experience. That served me well in preparation for obtaining my RN degree. I was a valued employee at Baptist Health and was nominated for Nurse of the Year by one of my co-workers.

Easily approachable and willing to work for solutions to problems, I feel that I could be a valuable asset for employment.

A back injury in 2019 forced me to take an early retirement. However, I am now ready to get back into the work force through other avenues that does not require floor nursing.
