• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating, monitoring and scrub tech, according to cath lab policies, procedures and scope of practice documents
• Has a thorough knowledge of invasive, diagnostic and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, proper use and deployment techniques
• Maintains cath lab regulatory requirements and ensures continuing education accreditation
• Understand and applies principles of x-ray generation and safety Understands and demonstrates the correct operation of imaging equipment

• Maintains a proper sterile field during invasive procedures

Fosters teamwork and cohesiveness with all team members and physicians

• Provides emotional support for both the patient and family members
