My research focuses primarily focuses on bioinformatics-driven genomics, where I contributing in designing and implementing of advanced workflows for Single-cell seq, RNA-seq, Whole genome seq, and cellfreeDNA analysis using tools such as Seurat and clusterProfiler. I led bioinformatics-driven genomics projects with direct public health imapct, most notably contributing to New York State's COVID-19 surveillance program. I am working on building and curating genome databases for rabbit and chicken. My expertise lies at intersection of big data analysis, bioinformatics workflows and applied genomics, complemented by experience in molecular and applied genomics, complemented by experience in cell and molecular biology techniques that will provide context for data interpretation. During my research in PhD, I worked with R&D and other departments of edible oil industry (BL.Agro Industries ltd., India), resulting in publications, a patent (in progress) and industry collaborations.
