I have been a hard working Paraprofessional at Agua Fria High School for my first school year, 2025-2026. I have provided behavior management, problem solving, and assistance in the classroom with children with intellectual disabilities. I have also been a dedicated care giver at Wee Care Corp from June of 2023 to now, 2026. I have provided Respite, habilitation, and attendant care services for five clients. I have a lot of experience working with kids and adults with special needs from when I was a junior in high school up to now. I was apart of my high schools unified sports program and did an internship in the medically fragile classroom my senior year. I enjoy working with special needs and disabled people very much because it makes me feel good knowing that these people have someone to advocate for them when they cannot. I also just have a lot of fun doing it. When I was in high school, I was awarded the Spirit Of Unified award, which they created specifically for me. This award was for embracing the spirit and love for unified sports and dedicating so much time and effort into the unified program. I was also awarded 2 other smaller awards for the unified program. I was apart of a paper on the unified program at my high school and how much I loved it, and that was such a great experience! Besides working with special needs people, I was a dancer for 14 years. I did competitive dance since I was 8 and stopped competing when I was 16. From then I was on my high schools varsity pom line for 2 years and did competitive pom there aswell as dance in high school.
I am CPR and CPI certified, I am certified in working with kids/adults with behavioral issues and dissabilities and I have a fingerprint clearance card.
