Summary

Adept at client intake and management of personal injury protocol. Negotiation and settlement for liability and UM/UIM limits. As well as, initiation of suit when necessary. These skills also include Louisiana workers' compensation cases. I honed my skills at The Townsley Law Firm with Needles data entry and the addition of medical malpractice cases. Drafting demands in personal injury automobile, fall and medical malpractice cases. My prior work experience included more legal writing. I miss this aspect of my abilities. I was recognized as an "Outstanding Young Woman" based on my writing skill while attending McNeese State University. I was taken by my legal research and writing instructor as her personal choice to the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's office as part of their initial internship program (pre-paralegal hiring), to do legal research, brief and post-conviction relief writing. I am quite capable of maintaining my work load, deadlines and case handling without the necessity of being micromanaged.
