Prior to my promotion as transit manager, I was a maintenance manager responsible for all county’s infrastructure and facilities maintenance operations from remodels to new construction developing proposals (RFP’s) working with contractors during solicitation of pre-bid packets, bid selection, site-visits, pre-construction, 30,60,90 final inspections reports, change orders, budget addendums, safety, contract oversite etc. I previously served 20yrs in the US Army on active duty, retired as a CW3 Chief Warrant Officer. I was a construction engineer technician 120A. I spent the majority of my work experience in some facet of skill trades construction from troop construction to Military Construction (MILCON), Facility, Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) projects from concept to completion.
