• Maintain high-level alignment with Plant Managers, Production Planning Managers, Customer Care, Operations, and Logistics to smoothly execute schedule changes with minimal customer impact.
• Actively engage with a tight-knit team of planners, participating in cross-training across various business units to flexibly support the shifting needs of multiple manufacturing plants.
• Develop production schedules to optimize workflow and minimize downtime across multiple facilities.
• Work directly with production personnel to resolve production scheduling issues and conflicts.

• Translates customer orders, forecasts, and stocking agreements into operations plans. Schedules production job orders to best meet customer demands, on time delivery metrics, and other operation key
  objectives. Ensures material availability for orders and prioritizes production based on available data.
• Analyzes and identifies supply problems and determines potential impact of on-time delivery to customers, true root cause, and potential corrective actions. Makes recommendations to mitigate operational risk, assists troubleshooting problems, implementing solutions, initiating corrective action, and communication cross-functional to all internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for planning data integrity, including functional and operational scorecards, daily EQDC metrics, Syspro (inventory master, BOM structures and routings, job closures, etc.), UniPoint (document controls, ECNs, trainings) and other departmental reports used to manage the day-to-day business.
• Coordinate and facilitate the activities of the production, purchasing, and engineering teams to bring prototypes, demos, and projects together on time.
• Train new associates and serve as a planning subject matter expert.

• Review production input and output, continuously analyzing unusual conditions, exposing potential problems, and recommending corrective action. Review manufacturing activities, customer expedites, and past due orders and adjust production schedules to maximize on-time customer delivery and minimize set-up.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to determine causes of operation and material reporting errors and recommend corrective action.
• Participate in all Material Review Board meetings, scheduling corrective action for rework, replacement and product revision notice activities.
• Furnish manufacturing delivery information for customer expedites, inquiries and other facility requirements.

• Revise production plans as needed due to changes or interruptions.
