Expansion of their export tank farm terminal in Reserve, LA. Project was plagued with high water and ground water. The original design could never be built in the conditions we faced. I proposed a different method to the engineering firm that they accepted with minor changes so that we could complete the construction of the bulk oil tanks.

Cargill had a fire at their Houston, TX export terminal that halted all exports. I went in and managed the rebuild which included equipment changeout, steel replacement and electrical repair. We were able to get them back up and running quicker that was expected.

Cargill had a dock renovation and new loaders install at there New Orleans Westbank location. Coordination of construction activities while the facility maintained operational status of the facility.

• Contract Position for Burns & McDonnell in Salina, KS for Schwan’s foods. Managing multiple facility projects in an operating environment.

• Direct hire employee to Bunge North America as their Senior Construction Manager at the Bunge North America Corporate Headquarters in St Louis, MO. Managed the day to day activities, safety program, and the execution of the major capital projects at numerous locations. In charge of the schedule, project cost and safety of the projects along with proposed change order reviews. Reported project issues as well as status to the Project Manager. Held pre-bid meetings, bid award meetings, project kick off meetings as well as site orientations and safety meetings with the contractors.
• Constructed 3 concrete slip pour silos for meal storage as well as installation of the distribution conveyors and equipment in Destrehan, LA. $15 mil
• Managed major outages and installations in the soybean crush facilities. Piping and equipment installation in a very compressed timetable and footprint of real estate in Destrehan, LA. $7 mil
• Managed 2 simultaneous River dock replacement and river belt upgrade projects. Included control and power upgrades in Helena, AR and Mayersville, MS $45 mil
• Managed completion, check-out and start-up of Canadian Canola Crush facility in Altona, Manitoba, Canada. $285 mil
• Managed installation, check-out and start-up of bulk grain ship loading facility. This included a complete upgrade to the plant 13-8 high voltage distribution system in Destrehan, LA. $230 mil

• Direct Hire Employee of Didion Milling managing the construction of a $40 mil Corn Mill Facility in Cambria, WI. Also managed onsite Didion Construction and Millwright crew of 20.

• Contract to Monsanto, Site Construction Manager at the Monsanto Corporate Headquarters in St Louis, MO. Managed the day to day activities, safety program, and the execution of the major capital projects on the Monsanto site. In charge of the schedule, project cost and safety of the projects along with proposed change order reviews. Reported project issues as well as status to the Project Manager. • 40,000sf state of the art Data Center that is the hub for all of the Monsanto network and IT communications and data storage. $30 mil
• Two 60,000sf total gut renovations of office buildings. $28 mil
• Installation of a new 20,000sf administration building for the Jerseyville Facility, including a seed handling facility. $5 mil
• Complete replacement of the high voltage feeder and duct bank system with minimal down time for the research facilities in Creve Coeur. $6 mil
• 15,000sf Regulatory complex erected in Creve Coeur, including a seed grinding and disposal system. $6 mil
• Managed the installation of the fire sprinkler system in a 200,000sf occupied office building with minimal disruption to daily activities. $5 mil
• Numerous smaller projects that required precise coordination to minimize any affects on day to day activities.

• Contract to Anheuser-Busch, assisted in the construction management of the site construction activities in the installation of two new state of the art bottling lines in the Bevmo Building as well as a new co2 facility.

• Produced and maintained numerous small project schedules for the implementation of the Hartford Integration project as well as long range planning schedules for the ConocoPhillips Roxanna Facility's future capital projects. Planned and scheduled several outages for existing facility upgrades.

• Contract to Monsanto, directed and organized construction projects; effectively communicated with contractors, handled pre-bids, bid awards, change orders, monitored all construction activities and coordinated activities to ensure smooth completion of entire project. Quickly advanced from field construction coordinator to project lead due to strong ability to manage personnel, organize projects, and complete jobs safely and economically. Carried projects from constructability reviews through completion, commissioning and turnover to site management.

• Journeyman Pipefitter and eventual Foreman on a maintenance contract with International Paper in Bastrop, LA:
• Performed numerous upgrade and modernization projects throughout the facility.
• Promoted to Powerhouse Foreman where I was in charge of all internal piping of existing Boiler house to tie into the new boiler house built by another contractor.
