Dental Practice Management System, LINK, This project is a Dental Practice Management System created using Java, Java Swing, and PostgreSQL. The PostgreSQL Database is hosted on AWS. The program features a login screen, main menu, and windows for patients, billing, appointment, and prescription billing information. Users can view and edit information in these windows.
Dental Practice Management System WEB (Work in Progress), LINK, This project is a web version of the one above created using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and a PostgreSQL Database. This project also used maven. Tomcat, and API's. Currently there is a login screen that authenticates users in a PostgreSQL database and sends the user to a main menu upon correct credentials.
Technical Experience
Java (Windows Applications), 4, I used this language to develop Windows applications featuring GUI which interact with relational databases to store information. Its advantages include simplifying tasks such as data entry, deletion, and management making these tasks more accessible.
Python (Automation), 4, I employed python, coupled with libraries such as Aspose, to write scripts that converts TXT and XLSX files into SQL format. This is beneficial because it automates data integration and minimizes user error from data entry. I utilized python to create a data pipeline that converts SQL Server database instance to PostgreSQL. This is beneficial as it saves time and eliminates the hassle of manual database conversion.
