Greet and search incoming tenants while entering building with the use of wands and medal detector's.

Patrol assigned post every hour on the hour.

Reporting to site supervisor of any problems while on post.

Assisting tenants with problems or questions by radioing in to supervisor on site to get the necessary help needed.

• Making sure all fire safety codes are followed and executed on a daily basis.
• Received a promotional opportunity to higher position from recognition of good work habits on the job.
• Received a pay raise within 2 months of employment from good work on the job.
• Stationed on a specific floor to ensure all tenants are following rules of the shelter.
• Recording constant activity of tenants during the shift in log book for safety measures, examples include tenants leaving the building and returning, when entered and exited bathrooms, kids using the stairways, nypd or emt visits to tenants room which include taking info of any emt or nypd shields info.
• Performing 30min check ins every 30min for awareness alert and safety issues.
• Conducting hourly rounds on the hour on floor stationed for fire safety breaches or issues.
• Hourly rounds consist of bathroom checks for any leaks in infrastructure, checks for anything that may cause fire like garbage or paper on heaters, making sure all fire extinguishers are up to date on their monthly in house servicing, and standpipe values and gauged correctly and more.
• Hourly rounds of exterior if stationed on the main floor cafeteria to make sure there is no breaches such as broken locks on surrounding gates, no uninvited guest on property, in front of building or surrounding areas including the playground.

• Performing inspection of tenants upon arrival into shelter building using wand.
• Making sure all tenants sign in and out when arriving and leaving building.
• Perform hourly rounds of entire building, floor to floor beginning on the 11th and ending in the lobby when on post at howard johnson.
• Perform hourly rounds of building beginning on 8th floor down to the lobby when on post at long island cities loctus blu inn.
• Perform rounds with the use of track tic depending on site.

• Greeted incoming customers upon entry and exit of bank.
• Directed guests to appropriate resources for inquiries and concerns.
• Monitored vestibule to prevent loitering by vagrants after hours.
• Contacted NYPD or EMT for assistance with non-compliant individuals or medical emergencies.
