During the past few years of employment i have been a lead laborer, and a journeyman laborer for the last 8+ years. I have professional experience with many different trades including asphalt paving, concrete pouring, tree felling, minor carpentry work, and I have installed miles of pipe in the ground including water, sewer, and storm drain. I have driven/operated vac-trucks, dump trucks, and heavy equipment. I take pride in the fact that i am a reliable and capable worker, and i take pride in the work that i do no matter how large or small the job is.
As a laborer for Wahlund Construction, i have become experienced in many trades including road grading and asphalt paving, pouring concrete, installation and repairs of water/sewer/storm drain pipe including mainline and service lines. I have driven and operated vac-trucks, dump trucks, and most types of heavy equipment. My many different duties as a laborer required use of all types of power tools, chainsaws, weed eaters and more.
As a laborer for J.B. i was a part of the demolition for many buildings including a store, a court house, gas station, and others. During demolition i was cutting asphalt, concrete, and rebar with a cutoff saw. I operated jack hammers, and used power tools to dismantle lumber and steel inside of the buildings.
During my time with Earthscaping i was a tree feller. I fell, limbed, and bucked fir tree logs in order for them to be hauled to the mill. This company only had one job in my area so i only worked for them for the duration of that one job.
During my summers of my high-school years, i was a laborer for WCCSD, i spent a lot of time cutting grass with a mower and weed eater. The job included many random tasks including asphalt paving, water line repairs, painting, landscaping, and many other tasks.
Over the years i have worked countless weekends doing side jobs as a ground guy for a tree service. My job was to buck and limb logs, load and haul off limbs, rig and pull ropes, and assist the tree climber with whatever he needed.
