Accomplishments

I started with the Harris County Sheriff's office in February 1991. After working as a jailer for approximately a year and a half I went to the academy. I accomplished my peace officers license after completing the academy. I received a lot of experience in different areas of the department. From working with inmates in the kitchen and laundry, to working in the probable cause court. I later moved to booking and receiving inmates into the jail. I then went to transportation where I moved inmates from outlying jails to the main jail. I later transferred to the outlying jails and learned the functions of taking in prisoners from officers working on patrol. I later transferred to patrol and learned the functions of the patrol division where I answered calls for service and determined various different violations of the law and placed the offenders in jail. I then moved to the Vehicular Crimes division where I accomplished certifications in accident investigation and crash reconstruction. Other accomplishments include TECOLE Instructor, and TECOLE Firearms instructor.
