- Performed thorough inspections to accurately assess property damage and determine appropriate restoration methods in the instances of mold, water damage, or fire.
- On mold damages, spray a chemical that kills the mold, demo the area that is affected such as drywall, which can be removed. If the mold is on structural materials, like a joist, then after scraping the dead microbial spores, seal with paint.
- On water damage, extract excess standing water, set up fans and dehumidifiers to stabilize the damage and to dry. Any area that won’t dry, or is destroyed, needs to have demo done.
- On fire damage, any salvageable affected content gets cleaned. I personalize in cleaning affected electronic items. All affected content that can be taken back to the shop, is loaded up and cleaned there. Once everything is cleaned, and our construction crew is finished with repairs, we bring back all the cleaned content.
- Have to be able to communicate with customers.
- Need knowledge on materials, tools, the damage itself.
- Have to use our program MICA that we use to input all our necessary information that insurance companies need to know; a map of the affected area, our damage assessment, drying readings, how much equipment we used, pictures, etc.
