  • I was a tool tester. I was nailing hammering and using drills for work. It was pretty nice work.
  • I was also doing loading where I go with the lead to get more supplies from the other warehouse.
  • I Was interested. Also would show up a hour early to make sure I was on time.
  • I got terminated because I didn't have glasses. I'm not required by law to wear glasses.
  • They thought I was when I said I couldn't see the screen on the machine but whole time I pulled it closer and was able to see better.
  • I just wasn't comfortable in the spot I was in.
  • Also me working there I was told that working that machine. It was a saw blade tool and I had to run tests.
  • I was told that safety is first and comfortability was next because of accidents that could happen.
  • Anyways after I was terminated I asked the guy if I could come back. He said yeah.
  • It wasn't like I'm a bad worker. They just said I needed glasses to come back.
  • I grabbed some from the pharmacy and they told my employer because it was through keystone staffing on 124th st that I couldn't come back without glasses so she said give it a minute and she'll retry.
  • So I'm waiting on a available job

Machine Operator/Material Handler

  • I had to handle a machine tool to load the tires off the conveyor belt and then grab the tires and roll them to their correct department or sort out the tires or work the conveyor belt.
  • I told them I had to leave because my brother put me out because of my allergies and how sick I got but I got offered by QPS down there which I went thru to get the job that I could come back and work within a year.

  • When I was working at McDonalds, I was a Maintenance worker then I became a team member.
  • I was doing things like organizing the supply shelfs or making sure that the store fit expectations.
  • I was taking out the trash, washing dishes.
  • I was moping the kitchen, back of the store and front of the store so the whole restaurant and I had to make sure the condiments and cups and napkins was organized.
  • When I got switched over to team member I was working fries, making burgers, working the grill.
  • Moping still and also cleaning the bathrooms.
  • I had to wash tables. it was a lot.
  • But I ended up quitting because they kept telling me I had to come in because they were short but I was sick.
  • I know I wouldn't want no runny nose, sneezing, Mucas in my chest type of person in the restaurant to work with food.
  • Plus, my eyes had tears coming out because of my allergies.
  • All of it was because of my allergies.
  • I can work most times when they act up as long as I don't let it act up to bad but that day it did, and I could've came in the next day probably but I think it got worse but I pretty much told them I quit because you weren't understanding business.
  • I already didn't like working there based of what I seen so honestly I didn't hesitate.
  • I didn't know the managers manager so that was like icing on the cake.
  • I eneded up working a temp the week after

Doughnut Specialist

  • It was an okay job.
  • I had learned a lot of experiences with being a doughnut decorator and I had experience doing general labor as catching the doughnuts off the conveyor belt and packaging making sure only disposals get thrown away.
  • I was doing packaging where me or someone else would work together to knock out like 400-500 order packaging and I had janitorial experience as well as cashiering and maintenance.
  • I also worked a machine that was there and did some deep cleaning there as well.
  • I had to work with my coworkers well to finish the task and to complete a days' worth of work.
  • Only thing was my attendance due to me use to not having transportation but all the work and effort I put in I didn't have too.
  • My job was to make doughnuts but they started me catching them and I caught on quickly.

  • When I was working here. I had to throw pizzas on the conveyor belt, and it was skilled ways of doing it like the pizza came in a bag that you can grab the back of it and throw the pizza out onto the conveyor belt and just throw the bag away.
  • Then it was the simple way of picking up the pizza from the box and placing it on the conveyor belt and taking the bag off.
  • I also did a position where me and like 2-3 other people were unpacking and packing up boxes.
  • Best of times honestly because we socialized while throwing boxes on top of each other and unstacking boxes to get the pizza and put on the conveyor belt.
  • It was also another area where we watched the pizza come down the conveyor and all we had to do was make sure they were right and not everywhere.
  • I was working in that temp in and out only when I needed some work.
  • I knew they needed workers.
  • I had to clean up with everyone at the end because it was pizza food on the ground and we had to clean before 1st shift came in.
  • I honestly then worked there at different shifts.
  • Sometimes I was doing 1st 2nd and 3rd.

  • I was a host at rock and brews in 2022 before the remodeling.
  • I was a host. what I was doing there was meeting and greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, letting them know the restaurants wait time, helping guests choose an idea of what to order, i was cleaning silverware for the busses and cleaning tables, taking dishes to the back and just basically learning and helping out on what the servers did for their job.
  • I was also cleaning up the bar at the end of the night.
  • Helped guests feel comfortable by telling ghost stories like ill interact and work at the same time.
  • I don't mind helping and working with others.
  • I know how to be to myself to get work done.
  • The bad part about the job is not everyone come in with a good attitude.
  • Not everyone likes to talk or has to.
  • I understood that and accepted it.
  • Played my part beautifully and learned a lot while I was there and I am looking for similar settings as well.

  • For that position I was telling cars where to park, how long the wait time was and how to exit and even having a chat with them.
  • Greet and meet.
  • I was also learning the menu to become a server and become a cook.
  • I told them I try not to stay in the same work pattern, but I can and showed I can.
  • I also was working on becoming a cashier.
  • I had gained janitorial experience and customer service experience as well and I stayed a few times to just help out.
  • It was really a great experience working there.
