As a Barista at Starbucks, I prepared handcrafted beverages and food items while delivering strong communication with my team members and costumers. We maintained cleanliness, stocked supplies and supported daily store operations to ensure smooth flow in our work place. We learned to multitask, work as a team, time management skills during busy peak hours and how to maintain happy customers.

As a Hostess at El Zarape, I provided the best customer service by greeting guests, managing seating and supporting smooth operations in a fast paced environment. As a Busser I cleaned and cleared off tables as well as setting them up afterwards for the next guests at a quick pace to ensure our guests are getting sat as soon as possible while also assisting my servers with anything they need such as getting drinks, taking empty plates out the way and taking drink orders for their tables while they’re busy. Both roles needed strong communication skills in order to keep our restaurant flowing smoothly.

As a Hostess at Sizzler I greeted each guests that entered and took their food orders at the front. I handled the registers in the front and took customer transactions with accuracy and professionalism. Afterwards I sat the guests down at the next table on rotation or preferred and supplied them with silverware letting them know their server will be coming to them soon.
