• Wells Fargo’s Deal Closing roles—often structured around specialized processors and closing specialists (ranging from associates up to lead and senior roles)—serve as the final operational checkpoint prior to funding. These positions focus heavily on compliance, complex documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  
• Document Management: Review, negotiate, and prepare highly complex legal, appraisal, title, and loan documentation.

• Risk Mitigation: Act as the final operational check before funding, verifying that all requirements align with negotiated terms, bank policies, and regulatory standards.
  
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with in-house/external legal, credit, sales, and collateral analysts to process loan modifications and onboard new clients (e.g., Capital Finance or Asset-Based Lending clients) onto systems like LUCAS or Credit View.
  

• Processed Change of Dealer Requests (COD) and Account Information Form (AIFs)

• Updated agents Smartsheets regarding policy status

• Communication with onboarding coaches regarding agents status and performance

• Built salesforce cases regarding mailout of CODs

• Processed outgoing, incoming and partial transfers

• Indexing Insurance and annuity applications into CAPS system. Also includes delivering/communicating directly to underwriting

• Training new hires during the shadowing process

• Crossed trained in the mailroom. Delivering policies and documents to customers

● Reviews data and documents exceptions on loans to ensure loans meet agency and investor
requirements that support post closing/prefunding loans

● Responsible for performing a variety of loan documentation duties on moderately complex
loans, using comprehensive knowledge of policies and procedures for loan products

● Ability to work complex loan documentation review

● Researching complex data/document, specifically First American, CPI4/CPI5, and ICMP

● Clerical and documentation specialist that ensure clients receive the proper documentation and
data entry
