I am currently a patrol officer with over 5 years of service in both the Foothills and Gateway divisions within the Glendale Police Department in both civilian and sworn roles. During my time as a police officer with the Glendale Police Department, I have completed the following trainings:
- HGN/SFST Technician Certification Course
- Solo Police Motorcycle Officer Training
- Forensic Phlebotomy Program Initial Training Course
- Red Dot Pistol School

As a Patrol Officer for the Glendale Police Department, I respond to calls for service, conduct self-initiated activity in various forms to include field contacts and traffic stops, complete administrative tasks such as writing detailed reports and participating in e-learnings, conduct collision investigations, enforce criminal and civil traffic law and arrest/book suspects when appropriate.
I also build professional relationships with members of the community to effectively gain insight pertaining to crime trends in an area, educate them on ways to lower chances of being victimized and lower overall crime rates in an area through partnerships with Glendale citizens and business owners.
As a Motor Officer, I conducted traffic enforcement and DUI enforcement through self-initiated and proactive activity. I also worked closely with the community through events such as know your limit and click it or ticket to ensure the roadways were safe and create positive interactions between the community and police.
I also assisted in conducting traffic control for events throughout the city to include sporting events at the stadium, events at the arena and mega events such as the Super Bowl. An additional duty was working in unison with the Vehicular Crimes Unit to conduct detailed and accurate serious vehicle collisions.

As a Police Officer Recruit, I was trained in basic police practices such as laws of arrest, search and seizure laws, crime scene management and criminal investigations. During this time, I was also tasked by training staff to lead the flag detail due to leadership traits I exhibited while in the academy.
As a Communications Specialist for the Glendale Police Department, I entered calls for service and sent them to patrol officers after using communication skills to obtain required information from citizen callers; this was often done under time limited and stressful situations.
In addition to this, I was also tasked with training Glendale Police Department Police Officers to effectively perform the role of call taker.
