Work History

Production Associate

Tesla
Fremont, USA
02.2022 - Current
  • Currently a level 3 production associate
  • Over the years I've learned and successfully strived for Tesla's high quality threshold for building the Model 3
  • My career at Tesla has been primarily on the Trim 2 line installing and learning every process from 70-90, with a few exceptions of helping other lines around the factory when support is needed
  • Tesla has taught me the importance of teamwork, quality, and being able and willing to adjust with the company's best interest in mind
  • I recently accepted an 'Acting Lead' position enabling me to have more insight into what it looks like being a team leader, shift rotations, and how to operate MOS
  • Although I'm not completely trained in MOS, I am very quick and willing to learn any and all things tech related
  • I have all essential work and safety courses completed ensuring I enforce and adhere to the safe work environment that is at Tesla
  • The Trim 2 production line I work on requires me to install the headlamps, rear deck lids, airbags, MCU (Car Computer), and the charge port on the Tesla Model 3
  • All of these processes require me to be efficient with torque tooling and be able to complete these tasks within 2 minutes
  • Not only am I required to complete these tasks within a certain time frame, but I'm required to complete them with the best quality output
  • I do not create defects, I do not accept defects, and I do not send out defects
  • My 3 years at Tesla I have only had one mistake with quality, and it was towards the start of my career at Tesla
  • Since then I pay extra attention to my work, keeping in mind that not only does it look bad on me but also on the company

Carpenter

Carpenter
Pleasanton, USA
07.2021 - 01.2022
  • I completed carpentry school in August of 2021
  • I learned how to read a tape measure, how to frame a house, use saws and power tools, while adhering to OSHA and completing all my training hours
  • After graduating, I helped a small business with all things carpentry
  • I layed tiles, put up sheet rock, and some concrete work as well
  • Although it's been a few years since I last completed any construction work, I am well versed and educated to at any point go back into that field if needed

Material Handler

Tesla
Fremont, USA
07.2020 - 01.2021
  • In 2020 I was a material handler for 6 months with Tesla
  • I fed the line and robots materials on the BIW line
  • I was a certified forklift and tugger operator, that also unloaded and loaded trailer for 18 wheeler trucks
  • Although my first time working at Tesla was short, it still showed me the level of excellence that the company strives to operate in
  • Unfortunately I was very immature, and didn't understand the role and opportunities I could've had within the company back then
  • Which led to me getting fired due to too many attendance strikes
