Devyn Montanye

My responsibilities as a member of the Sabercats workforce included cashiering for food vendors and ticketing, security for restricted areas within the stadium, loading and unloading of equipment, goods, and the set-up of vendor stands, and the opening and closing process necessary for a rugby game stadium.

In addition to all that, responsibilities included:

• Pursued learning opportunities to advance knowledge and take on leadership position.
• Contributed to team success by completing jobs quickly and accurately.
• Resolved issues quickly to maintain productivity goals.
• Learned all required tasks quickly to maximize performance.
• Broke down boxes and cartons, disposing of refuse in proper cardboard receptacles.
• Maintained productive, efficient approach to all tasks.
• Worked different stations to provide optimal coverage and meet production goals.
• Operated register to process payments and collect cash payment for order totals.
• Kept work areas clean, organized and safe to promote efficiency and team safety.

With this being my first official job there were some hurdles to climb for the efficiency needed for such a fast-paced and efficient job, along with the various positions I had to work, but thankfully I was a quick and strong learner. Thanks to this I am quite the efficient multitasker and have the skills needed to work a variety of positions.

My responsibilities as part of the Jersey Mike's Subs Crew included:

• Assisted other team members to achieve goals.
• Provided excellent customer service by greeting customers and meeting quality expectations.
• Took orders, prepared meals and collected payments.
• Operated cash register to ring up final bill and process various forms of payment.
• Kept food preparation area, equipment and utensils clean and sanitary.
• Cleaned and maintained all areas of restaurant to promote clean image.
• Addressed guest needs, questions or concerns to create optimum experience onboard.
• Worked well with teammates and accepted coaching from management team.
• Collaborated with team members to complete orders.
• Escalated problems or complaints to relevant supervisor or manager for resolution.
• Packaged menu items into bags or trays and placed drink orders into carriers.
• Became familiar with products to answer questions and make suggestions.
• Prepared and cooked food orders for customers by noting customizations and portion sizes.
• Prepared products following restaurant, health and safety standards and procedures.
• Worked front counter, drive-thru and other areas.

I learned a lot of hands on skills and important information working with as a part of a team within a restaurant. This included kitchen safety and cleaning requirements, the level of efficiency and energy necessary for such tasks, and the attention to detail needed to keep our restaurant looking nice and appealing.

My responsibilities as part of the Jersey Mike's Subs Crew included:

I both refreshed my knowledge on a deal hands on skills and important information working with as a part of a team within a restaurant and a new set when encompassing a different method of preparing food and working a drive-thru. This included, but was not limited to, kitchen safety and cleaning requirements, the level of efficiency and energy necessary for such tasks, attention to detail needed to keep our restaurant looking nice and appealing, and a great deal of efficiency in multitasking.
