  • Vigilance in the American Coot, Under the direction of the Biology Department Chairman, I led a team project to research, collect, and analyze data on the vigilance of the American Coot. I successfully gathered data through observation and analyzed it using Jay Watcher software. I presented my research at The Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research in November 2023.
  • Native Bee Composition in Our Campus’ Gardens and Nearby Natural Areas (Antelope Valley, California), During the spring and summer of 2023, we studied native bees in an urban area represented by the college gardens and two natural areas in the Antelope Valley. I collected, photographed, and identified all bees collected under a stereomicroscope. We presented our research at The Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research in November 2023.
