Summary

Working at New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired for 15 years gave me a passion to work with students especially with special needs. The first 10 years I worked in the classroom with teachers and students. I fell in love working with students with special needs. They thought me patience and always brought joy to my heart by helping them. They opened up my eyes to a different world out there.

I worked the last 5 years in Braille Production on the school campus. Learning braille was an adventure to me, always was fascinated by it. Decided to get my license into Braille Transcribing so i can do more for the students on campus and across New Mexico. Brings me joy knowing that my work can benefit the students to achieve their goals in school and later in life.
