My duties consisted in

• Check drivers in and out
• Despatch orders
• Send emails
• Do labels
• Check temperature and everything concerning it
• Give trailers seals
• Call spotters
• Call drivers
• Do shipping and receiving
• Keep an excel sheet of updates
• Learned SAP & ROSS programs
• Fix problems with product
• Make calls to the others companies to see if product arrived well
• Work in teammate with: leaders, material handlers, gatekeepers etc

Work duties:

• Greet and assist visitors/drivers in a timely and friendly manner.
• Sign drivers in and notify warehouse for dock assignment.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure timely and accurate preparation of shipping and receiving documents.
• Receives, counts, and logs cash received by carriers if applicable.
• Maintain WMS Scheduler, hard copy schedules, and updates visual aids for traffic flow.
• Verify paperwork with and releases drivers once paperwork is completed.
• Completes receipts including pallets for loads.
• Verify product and product count to ensure accuracy of data entered in computer.
• Notify management of pending no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals.
• Arrange outbound pick-up appointments for carriers and customer pickups.
• Call carriers for late and/or no-show trucks and reschedule appointments as necessary.
• Follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.
