I worked with Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS).   • Serves as Installation Official Mail Manager (OMM) responsible for activities within TEAD North & South areas. I process all incoming and outgoing official mail, accountable mail, courier, and express mail. I provided technical and administrative direction over the mail service, correspondence and mail distribution from activities and staff sections. I coordinate the dispatch of all outgoing official mail. I administers installation postage funding and expenditures for all outgoing official mail. I plan and coordinate postal services to meet the needs of the Tooele Army Depot. I comply with the legal and regulatory requirements of Department of Army (DA), Department of Defense (DoD), and US Postal Service (USPS). I serve in a liaison capacity between the Commander and the USPS. I coordinate any mailing matters and advises the Commander in negotiating changes in postal service agreements between the Command and USPS. I am able to read, interpret, and apply USPS Regulations, Army Postal Regulations, TEAD Regulations and policies and procedures. I determine the impact on existing operations and plans and initiates actions to ensure compliance. I identify problems within the mail flow and recommends improved procedures and methods to increase efficiency within the mail process. I establish standard operating procedures and manages the Army Official Mail Cost Control Program. I establish controls measure on postal expenditures for cost effective management. I ensure that the objective of the program is to reduce and maintain DA official mail costs at the lowest possible level. I recommend alternative mail procedures to all customers to ensure most efficient and economical methods are being used. I monitors local mailing daily for compliance with regulations. As the appointed OMM, Official Mail Manager. I make periodic inspections and reviews official mail control summaries in all activities. I review requests and local forms for permit and bulk mailing. I conduct average transit time checks for various classes of mail to identify problems in the postal service system or the mail distribution systems. I initiate actions prescribed by regulations. I perform studies to research and evaluate mail processing procedures and equipment to recommend procurement of new equipment and/or implementation of new procedures to improve mail operations and service.   • As an explosives worker, I worked in all departments in the Ammo i.e. demo range, operations on the line, storage, LCL area, small arm disposal incinerator (The Popper), K line, and Storage area. I execute various operations from renovation, modification, demilitarization, care, and preservation of ammunition and explosives ranging from small arms up through 280 millimeter, to include mines, grenades, and rockets. I operate gasoline, diesel-powered, and electric forklift truck. I perform disassembly and breakdown of ammunition items by operating a variety of machines, equipment, and fixtures such as Army Peculiar Equipment (APE). I disassemble apart or breakdown machine to the separate projectiles from shell casings, and base or nose plugs from bombs and mines. I defuse, de-bolstering, resizing, de-priming and similar machines to remove fuses, boosters, primers, cartridges, or other assemblies or components. I destroy a variety of explosives, ammunition, and propellants by detonation and burning, following a variety of procedures specific to the particular items being destroyed. Included are incendiary destroyers, grenades, and smoke pots. I receive and control the unloading of munitions to be destroyed in the destruction site. I monitor and inspect conditions and correct lot numbers, unpacks and disassembles as required by condition such as contamination, deterioration, or damage to assure complete destruction and to minimize low-order detonations. I am knowledgeable of basic electrical circuits and simple measuring instruments to set up, test, calibrate, and operate electrical detonation systems.

I prepared documentations for UPS, and Federal Express shipments. I move items by hand or utilizes material handling equipment, i.e., a handcart, pallet jack, and forklift or hand truck. I operate various makes and model electric, gasoline or diesel powered forklift weighing up to 15,000 pounds and gasoline powered industrial vehicles, such as golf cart, scooter, and small truck weighing up to and including 20,000 pounds.
