As a clinical pharmacist for Optioncare, I manage TPN, antiinfective therapies, inotropic therapy, pain management, and other therapies as needed in the clinical infusion practice. I am also proficient in specialty pharmacy therapies.

I manage labs for all these therapies and make adjustments to TPNs and antibiotics.

I work with a diverse clinical staff to provide accurate and timely deliveries to our patients. The job also entails managing workflow and keeping med lists and care plans for patients. I am willing and able to take on call duties as needed. I know the policies of Optioncare and adhere to them.

I keep my Pharmacy license current and keep up with updates and new information on infusion and specialty drugs.

I have a passion for providing accurate and personal patient care for my patients. I excel at communication with nurses, physicians, and other medical staff as well as with patients.

I utilize drug information sources to verify the stability and sterility of IV admixtures.

I have experience mixing IV compounds and have done this as needed during the hours that Optioncare as open as well as on call. I have experience putting together deliveries for IV as well as enteral products.

I am familiar with all the pumps that are used in the IV and enteral setting.

I am always willing to learn new procedure and information.
