In my year of working at Perelman Jewish Day School, I've learned a incredible amount of information that has made me feel leaps and bounds more advanced as both a student and educator. When I began teaching at PJDS, I was a second-semester music education student and felt like a complete imposter. I didn't know how to maintain control of a classroom, let alone teach students anything about music.
However, after continuing to strive to better myself in these skills that I underestimated the difficulty of when entering the field of education, I have noticed myself thriving in my courses and understanding further each day how to connect with and educate my students.
My goal is to continue to soak up everything that my professors and students teach me every day and to continue to become the best possible educator I can for both present and future students.
