Dillon Prochnicki

• Working primarily on two projects on Next-Generation of Air-Refueling Systems and New Approaches to Deter People’s Republic of China (PRC) Aggression;
• Developing analytical tools, approaches, and models for studies using python, excel, and other quantitative methods;
• Designed Python/Excel tool to evaluate route optionality for different aircraft types given aircraft characteristics and airfield data;
• Developed mathematical approaches to quantify probabilities of mission success by mission type;
• Gathering and manipulating quantitative and qualitative data to use with tools developed.

• Helping schedule speakers, book rooms, and other logistics related to events to increase mutual exposure between AEI and Georgetown.

• Gathered and analyzed data for inclusion in reports and articles;
• Prepared research memos in support of op-eds, essays, and ongoing long-term domestic-oriented book project;
• Prepared biographical and research memos for meetings with various figures and in preparation for events;
• Assisted with administrative tasks and event support.

• Participated in Zack Cooper’s seminar on “China and Competition in the Indo-Pacific.”

• Manage board of 8 to provide Georgetown with a forum for political philosophical discussion and programming;
• Designed clear distribution of tasks, progress checks, and timelines to ensure attainment of club objectives;
• Designed club theme/focus on semesterly basis by tailoring 12 related weekly readings, 4-6 outside speaker events, and 4-6 social gatherings.
