- Access manufacturer specific SCADA systems to troubleshoot and reset faults according to Vestas' fault handling procedures

- Oversee thousands of wind turbines across North America at GE's Renewables Control Center.
- Troubleshoot turbines that have faulted out and are no longer producing power, returning them to service as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Use GE software alongside FHP's (Fault Handling Procedures) to determine if a faulted turbine can be reset and brought back online or if it should be handed off to site team for repair.
- Creating TEA's (Trip Evasive Actions - temporary adjustments in in controller software) In order to keep a turbine up and running until site team is able to climb turbine and diagnose issue in person.
- Monitor eSCADA and track sitewide outages or discrepancies affecting single turbines or entire sites. Cataloguing any necessary information in the eSCADA system for visibility.
- Communicate with site teams regarding status of turbines or entire sites as well as assisting site with restoration after grid events or planned outages.
- Assisting site technicians with Yawing, Pitching blades, or any other mechanical operations that are needed at turbine during maintenance.
Implant Process Engineering Technician
