  • Manage the daily administration of our storage systems that include both SAN and NAS technologies, as well as driving the business requirements.
  • Provisioning iSCSI volumes to VM for file servers environment and ESX hosts.
  • Maintain the health, availability, stability operational support of our NAS Isilon cluster nodes and provide operational support to our SAN devices which include Cisco MDS, VMAX/PowerMax XtremIO and Pure storage devices.
  • Resolving storage performance and capacity restraints of SAN volumes.
  • Architecting Disaster Recovery design of the NAS Isilon environment and maintaining DR integrity of our NAS appliances
  • System Administration of Isilon /PowerScale OneFS environment , FreeBSD linux environment, Superna SUSE linux OS

  • Working with Security teams on vulnerabilities and Access level permissions

  • Projects such as Proof of Concept, Data Migrations and data archival from legacy systems
  • Coordinated change management with teams on possible downtime relating to major code upgrades on our Isilon clusters and maintaining a non-disruptive change
  • Projects implementing new applications requiring storage solutions
  • Reporting – providing our leadership and application teams storage capacity reporting as well as performance reports to assist in forecasting and budgeting
  • Used InsightIQ and Storage Reporting and Monitoring
